Not a lot to say about it really.. read the news a few hours ago on CNN. It is sad that he will not get to see health care for all finally become a reality.

8 hours in the car sucks

Long car rides can suck. 8 hours to the in-laws on Friday morning, and then 8 hours back last night. My son did amuse me on the way there though. We stopped in Kennewick to get gas, and he asked what I was doing. Since pumping your own gas is illegal in Oregon, he had never seen me do it before. And I hate that law btw.

The best part is, we get to do it again next month.

And then a few weeks later in October.. an even longer trip. San Jose. Last time it took me 11 hours. And that was me, alone. I only stopped to gas up and grab food, and I ate in the car. This time? We will probably have to stop a few times to eat, and maybe the occasional rest stop so that Conner doesn't go nuts.

After this, I think I will fly on all trips for the next year.
