Inflatable chair is going to kill me in my sleep

My mom and her husband love to give me son gifts. I think they would die if they did not get him something new every week. One thing they bought him a few months ago is starting to creep me out.

It is an inflatable Spongebob Squarepants chair, and it has murder in its eyes.

It is about the perfect size for a 3 year old, and is big and yellow and has a huge Spongebob face on it. My son loves Spongebob, and to be honest I am a fan of the show also. But this chair.....

The way it is currently facing, it stares from the living room, across the entryway, and towards the doors of the 2 front rooms. The kitchen is always a little lit, so light spills out onto this chair at night. So when I emerge from one of these rooms, I find Spongebob staring at me, with his huge Spongebob grin. Last night, when I went to bed, I stopped at the door and looked back, towards the chair, and stared. It wasn't just facing me. It was STARING at me. It was waiting for me to close the door behind me, and fall asleep.
