we're screwed

Several times a day, I drop down the address list on my browser and go to CNN.

Everytime I go to CNN, especially these last few weeks, I can only think one thing.

This world is going to hell.

Gas costs are increasing, health care is increasing, education is getting too expensive for average Americans, our enemies are getting the bomb, Israel is being stupid, our president and the people that surround him are fucking morons, our invasion of Iraq is making us look inept, and we care more about Brad and Angelina's baby than we do about what is happening to our friends and neighbors.

What happened to that world of change I saw before me in the early 90's? I thought the world was supposed to be a better place. Instead all we have is news reports about more soldiers and innocents being killed in far away places and movies about motherfucking snakes on motherfucking planes.

Oh well, nothing I can do about it.
