Back to Reading for Fun

It is now time to once again take up reading as a hobby.

Over the last couple of years, the amount of reading I have done has dropped significantly. The last book I finished was Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk. Since then, I have started and not finished March Upcountry by John Ringo and David Weber, On Basilisk Station by David Weber, and America: A Citizens Guide to Democracy Inaction by John Stewart and the Daily Show cast. Also, sitting unfinished is New Spring by Robert Jordan. I had a very hard time getting into that one, but by now much of my anger at the literary catastrophe that was Crossroad of Twilight has passed, so maybe I can now get into it.

At home I have several more books that are waiting for me to pick them up. They are, of course, mostly Scifi and Fantasy. I also have a short list of political and current events related books I would like to read. Seeing as how work really offers me nothing in the way of things to do, I have the time to read. I would also like to leave my impressions of the books here on this blog thingie that some people seem to like to return to.

Maybe one of these days I will actually finish reading Dante's Inferno.
