*yawn*
The good news is, that as of the time I started
writing this, I have 4 hours of work left. The bad
news is, I am bored.
Very very bored.
Sure, I have things that I need to do while I am here,
and I am doing them when needed, but other than that,
I have nothing to do.
Normally, there is no one online to chat with. Not
interested in the books I brought to work with me. The
Internet is boring right now. Don't feel like reading this Unix
security book I have sitting next to me.
That is the only real problem with this job. I get
bored very quickly, and for long periods of time.
Now, I suppose I could try to pick up a hobby or
something. It would need to be something I can do here
at work that would not interfere with my normal duties.
I love playing video games, but that is not something
I can do here. I don't bring my Gameboy to work with
me.
How about Lego building? I suppose I should get good
at that, since the baby is due in May(oh yeah, in case
I hadn't mentioned it before, we are having a baby), but
honestly, Lego's are not something I should bring to
work with me. Plus, they are noisy. I am serious. Have you ever dumped out
a bucket full of Lego's? It is loud.
Writing.. hmmm.. hahahah. No. Anyone who reads this
blog can see that I should not take up writing as a
hobby. Also, I think my imagination, which was once described as very
good, was lost a long time ago.
Drawing? Well.. I used to do that when I was a kid. I
don't think I was ever that good. I stopped a long
time ago, and don't think it is something that I would want to take
up again. I don't have much patience, and tend to
abandon things if I don't see quick results. Also, again, no imagination.
I can try getting into 3D again, and might possibly be
able to do that here at work with a free copy of
Blender. Problem is, will I be allowed to do it, and also, the
imagination thing comes into play.
Anyone got any ideas?
