Books
The other day, I picked up 3 books at Barnes and Noble.
The first book is Swan Song by Robert McCammon. I have only read the first few chapters, and plan on picking it up again after I finish up a few others. It was recommended on the SA forums in a thread about post-apocalyptic books. So far, what I have read has been a little creepy, and I had a few odd dreams that night. Books normally do not have that affect on me. Can't wait to get to this one.
The second book.. well.. I got the first Harry Potter book, written by some woman that is richer than the Queen of England. I actually liked the movies, so I am going to read the books. That is all I have to say about that.
The third book is one that I have been wanting to read, and yet, not wanting to read. It is Fast Food Nation:The Dark Side of the All-American Meal by Eric Schlosser. It is the book I am spending most of my time on right now, and after I am done, a few guys here at work want to borrow it. So far, it has been a very good read about that industry, and I am just now getting to the part about the actual food itself. I recommend this to everyone that eats fast food.
