ACK! I was supposed to post this yesterday but I forgot


A couple of things...


I was listening to KUFO on my way back from picking up lunch. The afternoon DJ's, Dog and Chop, were defending Metallica. A chick had called in wanting to know if they were going to do a poll after their new song was played. She said she had heard the song before and thought it sucked. Dog instantly started to defend Metallica(not surprised), and said that a true fan would not criticize the band and would stick with them.

Then, they played the song.

I believed it was called St. Anger.

It sounded like.. well.. I don't know what it sounded like. The best way I can describe it is it sounded like a few different songs compressed into one. It was chaotic. I can listen to some older stuff of theirs, like Master of Puppets, and you can feel how the song flows all the way through. This song didn't. I must say, I didn't like it.

I didn't get to hear their reactions to it, since they played Korn afterwards and it was time for me to get out of my car.

If the rest of their album is like this, I will not be buying OR downloading it.

Oh, and fuck you Lars. Fuck you in your ear.

The last movie I saw was Matrix Reloaded. I must see it again.

When I left the theatre, my only thought was "whoa, did I just fucking see that?"

From what I have seen on message boards, I have noticed a trend among the people that did not like it. They didn't seem to like the backstory, philosophy, etc. They just wanted to see Neo break shit. They also seem to forget that the first movie that they loved so much did not have that much action in it. Like they say about the second one, it was "mostly talk".

I thought the movie was amazing. Yes, I loved the action. Who wouldn't? The highway scene was FUCKING SPECTACULAR, as was the Agent Smith(s) fight. The movie has one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard(Juno Reactor kicks ass). Seriously, download it. It is good stuff. I loved the Architect. Whoever he was, he was perfect for that role. He seemed very smooth and very sure of himself, until Neo made his choice.

Oh, and all computer programs should look like Persephone.

I am still having a hard time picking up a book and actually reading it. I read, but not that much. I might read a page or two before getting really bored and throwing it against the wall.

I have Mr. Robert Jordan and his Wheel of Time series, especially the 10th book, to thank for this.

People should need to get a license before they get on the Internet. We make HAM radio users get licenses, why can't net users?

They should be tested. The test should cover a variety of topics, such as what email is and how it works, DNS and how it works, how to telnet, IP addressing, kilobits vs. kilobytes, lantecy vs. speed, and other simple tasks, such as how to use a search engine or use a news server,

This would make my life a lot easier, since I would no longer get FUCKING MORONS CALLING ME ASKING HOW TO SETUP AN EMAIL ACCOUNT!!!!!
